Pacayal Prieto Estate | El Salvador | Direct Trade
Region: Pacayal, El Salvador
Altitude: 1500 m
Tasting notes: Heavy body, soft acidity, dark cocoa, mulling spice
This estate coffee is grown on the extinct Pacayal Lake. Many years ago it was a crater that branched off of the Chaparrastique volcano. This environment is ideal for the Bourbon coffee trees, due to the warm, humid micro-climate and rich volcanic soils. The Prieto Estate coffee growers began as a venture to connect high quality beans directly to specialty coffee roasters. On top of that: all of their crops are certified with a Rain Forest Alliance seal denoting environmentally and socially responsible business practices.
All sales are non-refundable and final. All coffee is roasted fresh to order every Thursday and every Sunday. Online orders are shipped or delivered the following day - every Monday and every Friday.
