Near Guatemala City, the city of Antigua lies amongst the volcanoes Agua and Fuego. The Los Volcanes lot is sourced from family owned farms, who produce the coffee traditionally: under a canopy of grevilla and chalum trees. The coffee produced in this area has a protected designation of origin to certify the crop was grown in Antigua’s renowned coffee region. Volcanic soil and an array of varietals create a complex, rich and velvety cup. The cherries are fully washed and dried in the sun on concrete.
