This coffee is bold and upfront in its fruity nature. Dry-processing coffee cherries adds vivid flavors to the crop, which was grown by a collection of farmers in the region. The coffee is dried on raised beds for 21-24 days at the Cheri mill. Heirloom varieties of coffee grow throughout Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Cross-pollination of the plant leads experts to believe there are between six and ten thousand varietals! This colossal number has made it impossible to genetically test and identify the beautiful coffees of the country.
