Varietal: Bourbon, Caturra, Pache, Typica
Tasting Notes: : Heavy body, Balanced acidity, Caramel, Pear
This lot of Peruvian coffee comes from the Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto, also known as “El Palto.” The co-op, founded in 2003 by 35 farmers, is in the Amazonian Andes of northern Peru. Their mission is to meet the demand of specialty coffee buyers, allowing an increase in income for the farmer and their family. Honey-process is a method in which the skin and pulp of the coffee cherry are removed, but the layers of mucilage (honey) remain, adding a mild acidity to the coffee.
All sales are non-refundable and final. All coffee is roasted fresh to order every Thursday and every Sunday. Online orders are shipped or delivered the following day - every Monday and every Friday.
