This lot of coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia is grown by a group of about 1000 members. In the high altitude areas to the East of the town, high quality coffee is grown and then dry-processed, creating a fruit-forward and floral experience like on other. Heirloom varieties of coffee grow throughout Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Cross-pollination of the plant leads experts to believe there are between six and ten thousand varietals! This colossal number has made to impossible to genetically test and identify the beautiful coffees of the country.
