Turmeric Paste Home Kit
Crafted for you to make your own turmeric paste at home! Turmeric paste is the base of the Ayurvedic beverage often called "golden milk" and the base of our beloved turmeric latte from our cafe. Preparing it is relatively quick and easy, and a wonderful aromatic experience.
We crafted our turmeric paste to be aromatic, flavorful and healing. The powerful combination of turmeric, black pepper and coconut oil enhance one another's healing properties. Benefits from drinking golden milk include anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, beneficial for allergies, digestion, immune system boost and so much more.
Kit includes 1 spice pouch + 1 portion of freshly ground black pepper and instructions.
You will need: a medium sized pot, filtered water, whisk, and a small amount of coconut oil.
Note: The paste can be prepared without the use of coconut oil, but we highly recommend not skipping it! It's beneficial fats aid in absorption of the healing properties of your turmeric paste.
1 home kit will yield 1 quart of turmeric paste.
Once you have prepared your turmeric paste, you can make yourself a mug of golden milk. Combine 10 oz of hot water with 2.5 tablespoons of your turmeric paste (or 45 g) + sweetener of your choice. Stir well to combine, then top off with milk of your choice and enjoy!
Your turmeric paste can also be used to bake with, add to oatmeal, smoothies, pancake or waffle batter, muffins... the options are endless!
Ingredients: Organic turmeric powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper. All ingredients used are organic.
